Encoding mode

Previously, VGA Grid HD Encoders could be used in one of two modes. The normal mode was called Slave encoder mode (in this mode the device configuration is controlled by the Networked VGA Grid). The secondary mode was called Encoding mode (in this mode the device is used as a channel encoder).

As of release 3.14.1, Encoding mode is no longer supported for VGA Grid HD Encoders. Your Networked VGA Grid with firmware 3.14.1 will not work with encoders using older firmware. They must also be upgraded. During upgrade, VGA Grid HD Encoders automatically convert to the equivalent of Slave encoder mode.
