Delete recorded files manually

Recordings can be manually deleted via the Admin panel. You can delete one file at a time, select multiple files for a given recorder or channel and delete those, or you can delete all recordings for a channel or recorder.

If you want to delete all the files on the system, follow this procedure for each channel and recorder listed in the Admin panel.

To delete recordings:

  1. Login to the Admin panel as admin or operator. See Connect to the Admin panel.
  1. Find the recordings by channel or by recorder. See View list of recorded files.

  1. To delete an individual file:
    1. Click the X icon to the right of a file entry to request deletion; a confirmation dialog appears.
    2. Click OK on the confirmation dialog.
  2. To delete multiple files for the current channel or recorder:
    1. Select the check box next to the recordings you wish to delete from this channel or recorder.
    2. Click Delete Selected; a confirmation dialog appears.
    3. Click OK on the confirmation dialog.

The list may not update immediately. You can refresh the list by reloading the Recording page (for channels) or the recorder settings page (for recorders).

  1. To delete all files for the current channel or recorder:
    1. Click Delete All; a confirmation dialog appears.
    2. Click OK on the confirmation dialog.
