You can now choose which transcoded versions Kaltura generates for each upload. This gives you direct control over how many renditions are stored in your Kaltura account, helping you manage storage usage and, when configured thoughtfully, reduce your Kaltura storage costs. Limiting unnecessary renditions can also shorten processing times, making videos available sooner for time-sensitive workflows.

Pearl’s Opencast Capture Agent implementation has been updated to align with the latest interoperability guidelines. With this release, ROLE_ADMIN is no longer required when using Pearl as a capture agent, reducing unnecessary permission exposure while maintaining full functionality. The result is improved compatibility with modern Opencast deployments and a more secure, least-privilege integration.

When the Delcom button is held for five seconds to stop a recording, the indicator light now turns off immediately, providing clear, instant confirmation that the action was successful. This removes ambiguity for operators, reduces hesitation during live or high-pressure workflows, and makes device operation more confident and efficient.
