I need to attach 4 AV.io HD to the same server, to capture 4 1080i video+audio for several hours.
So I need 4 USB3.0 ports, I am searching for an additional 4 port pcie card to buy, to be sure that I will not have problems with mb controller bandwidth.
My Question is: how much bandwidth consumes a single AV.IO HD at 1080p?
A Single channel 4-port usb card is sufficient (5gbps) or I need a dual (10Gbps) o quad channel card (20Gbps)?

Each AV.io HD can use nearly the entire USB 3 controller bandwidth when capturing at their full resolution and framesize. It would be best to use a 4 controller card.
