Config Util under Ubuntu

I downloaded the 4.0 version of the config utility for Linux, ConfigTool_4.0.0_Linux.tar.bz2. When I uncompressed it I get this file: EpiphanCaptureConfig-r40508-20171227-x86_64.AppImage

I have no idea what this file is or how to use it. This is obviously not the config tool.

Any thoughts or help appreciated!

Doug

That is indeed the config tool, we are using an appimage in order to make it portable and easy. Just make the .AppImage file executable and you can run it, no need for any installation.

Make executable:

chmod a+x EpiphanCaptureConfig-r40508-20171227-x86_64.AppImage

Then run:

./EpiphanCaptureConfig-r40508-20171227-x86_64.AppImage
