Enforce Single Sign-On (SSO) Login for Existing Members of an Epiphan Cloud Team
If you have an existing Epiphan Cloud Team that you would like to enforce the use of Single Sign-On (SSO) you can follow the instructions below. If you have not yet configured SSO, see: Configuring Single Sign-On (SSO).
If a user has a single email address tied to both an SSO and a non-SSO account, they must be logged in to Epiphan Cloud with their SSO account before accepting a Team invite. Otherwise, the invite may be attached to the wrong account.
To enforce SSO-only access to a Team:
-
Remove all current members from the team to prevent duplicate or non-SSO logins.
-
Share the correct login link for your region and ask your team members to log in using SSO authentication only:
-
EU: https://eu.epiphan.cloud/login.html
-
US: https://go.epiphan.cloud/login.html
-
-
Notify team members that they must be signed in to Epiphan Cloud with SSO before accepting a team invite
-
Send new Team invitations from the My Team page. If members are logged in with SSO, they will automatically join under their SSO identity.
To migrate the Owner of an existing Epiphan Cloud Team to SSO authentication, see: Migrate an Existing Epiphan Cloud Team Owner to Single Sign-On (SSO).
