Will a Raspberry touch monitor work with webcaster x2? I found one with 1/4 mounting screw, 10.1 inches, usb power, 1080p ips screen… trying to build my own mini pearl. hehehe
It isn’t something we have tested out, so the answer is a maybe! If you do try this let us know if it works!
I’m using Elecrow 5 Inch Touch Screen HDMI Monitor HD 800x480 TFT LCD Display and touch doesn’t work but the screen does. You can also power it directly from Webcaster X2 so no additional power supply needed.

I’ve tried the 7" Velleman HDMI-B screen (designed for Raspberry). The screen and touch both work pretty well. Unfortunately I still need a mouse just because the top level Preference screen doesn’t have a back button (!!) and relies on a right click to return.
Thanks for letting us know, this is the first report I have heard of a touchscreen actually working! You are correct that a right click is required in order to exit the preferences screen, this wasn’t really designed for a touchscreen.
