When recording the screen is taken up with loads of icons which is annoying. And with nightvision on you get the word nightvision constantly on the screen. Is there a way to remove these from the screen?
From the quick research I was able to determine that it should be possible to do a clean HDMI output from the Sony AX53. You may need to click on the screen to toggle the description settings on/off. Otherwise you might need to look at menu settings under
Menu > Setup > Connection > CTRL for HDMI > turn off Descriptions of menu items.
If you’re not having any luck, you may need to reach out to Sony regarding the HDMI output as this is support for Epiphan Video devices!
