Firmware 4.3.0 includes the following new features:
Chroma keying
Shoot a green screen, add a video or image background for visual effects, or use titling software like NewBlueFX to add lower thirds to your stream. Pearl’s custom layout editor makes it easy to use chroma to apply upstream or downstream key effects to your video.
Text overlay and custom layout enhancements
Your text overlays will look better than ever. We’ve added TrueType fonts, highlighting, and support for multiple lines of text. You also have greater flexibility to change font sizes and to adjust the color, line spacing, and padding.
Clone channels, recorders, and custom layouts
Save time when creating a second channel or layout by duplicating one that’s already set up! Easily create multiple custom layouts that have a common logo or setting.
Additional features
This upgrade also includes new Epiphan Live controls to start and stop individual live streams. For Pearl-2, we added support for the Logitech BRIO 4K camera and improved support for interlaced SDI signals.
