could i replace or remove the internal storage (500G ssd) ? or that will effect the operating system?
It will also remove the OS and is not recommend. Opening/modifying the system will also void warranty.

thank you for your quick response, I have another inquiry :-
is there any relation between recorded media and internal storage? is the media being recorded through the internal storage?
because the device existed in a sensitive site and they don’t want to exit the device without erasing this confidential recordings. they have already done that (deleted the recordings),but they fears from restoring the deleted files by the different recovery programs.

The internal storage/recorded media are one and the same. There is only the single internal drive that hosts the OS and available storage for the recorded file content.
