Release 3.4.40

Optimized Epiphan Edge Connection: We've reduced latency for users remotely logging into the EC20 web interface. This enhancement improves the experience of configuring and controlling cameras for users paired with EU or Australia-hosted Epiphan Edge environments.

Bug Fix: Fixed a rare issue that caused firmware updates to require multiple attempts to succeed. See: Firmware update is unsuccessful.

Release 3.3.40

Epiphan Edge

Remotely monitor the status and health of your EC20 fleet, perform bulk firmware upgrades, and manage configurations and maintenance tasks—all from a single, unified interface.

Panopto Integration

The EC20 now integrates directly with the Panopto video content management system, enabling single-cable connectivity and a zero-encoder workflow. Seminar rooms, breakout spaces, and collaborative environments can be easily recorded and published directly to Panopto.

Dante Audio Input

Support for Dante audio input enables seamless integration with networked audio systems. Combined with PoE, the EC20 supports a single-cable setup for power, video, control, and audio—reducing installation cost and complexity while offering greater flexibility in camera placement.

Front LCD Control

Users can now disable the built-in front LCD screen to conceal the device’s IP address and reduce exposure to potential network reconnaissance.

Online Firmware Upgrades

Internet-connected EC20 devices will automatically notify users when new firmware is available and provide a one-click upgrade option via the web interface or Epiphan Edge.
