List of known issues for the EC20 and workarounds where available.

Manual firmware update fails and firmware version does not update. |
This can rarely occur when updating from firmware version 2.0.16 or 3.3.40. This issue is resolved in firmware 3.4.40. See: Firmware update is unsuccessful. |

All settings on the Video tab reset to defaults when applying a firmware update. |
Take note of your settings before updating the firmware, and then reapply them afterward. |

When changing the microphone connection type, the EC20 may reboot. |
Currently no workaround for this behavior, avoid modifying microphone settings during active productions. |

If a 3.5mm audio device is connected to the EC20 it will use that connection even if Dante is selected as the Input type in the web interface. |
Disconnect the 3.5mm device if Dante audio is the desired input type. |
|
RTMP streaming out from the EC20 does not work if the USB 3.0 output is connected. |
This is expected behavior, it is not possible to stream via RTMP while the USB 3.0 output is in use. Disconnect the USB 3.0 output to stream RTMP. |

The EC20 web interface 'Live View' freezes after some time. |
This can happen periodically, refresh the browser page to resolve. |

Only Preset 1 is applied when Tracking Mode is enabled. |
This is expected behavior, many presets can be saved, but only Preset 1 is applied when tracking is enabled. |

The "Factory Default" button does not completely reset the EC20. |
This is expected, currently the 'Factory Default' button does not reset anything related to Panopto. If resetting the unit, first reset the Panopto settings on the Panopto page, and then press the 'Factory Default' button. |

The EC20 does not support every audio bitrate Panopto supports. |
This is expected, currently the EC20 only supports 96 Kbps and 128 Kbps. |

There is no audio histogram in the preview of the EC20 in Panopto's Remote Recorders interface or Epiphan Edge. |
This is expected behavior as these audio histograms are not currently supported. There is no workaround. |

When viewing an EC20 in Panopto's Remote Recorders interface the Machine IP Address field is blank. |
There is currently no workaround. |

When sending interlaced video from the EC20 to any Pearl device No Signal is seen. |
Current workaround is using a progressive signal. |
|
Artifacts in OSD Setup Menu after changing settings with remote. |
Sometimes after making changes with the remote control visual artifacts appear on the screen. Press the Menu button on the remote and then select the [Menu] Exit option. |

Time of Flight (ToF) is not currently enabled. |
