NDI® Settings

This section of the user guide covers the various NDI® related settings on the EC20. Once you've accessed the web interface you would click on the NDI® option in the side navigation.

NDI Local Device Name: This is the name of the camera as seen by other NDI devices on the network.

NDI Machine ID: This is the ID of the camera on the NDI network.

NDI License: This shows the current state of the NDI license.

NDI Local Device Channel: This determines which NDI channel the camera is using, by default it is NDI|HX3.

NDI Receive Group: The name of the NDI Receive Group, the default value is public.

Enable NDI Discovery Server: Toggle whether or not the camera will communicate with an NDI Discovery server.

NDI Discovery Server: Address of the NDI Discovery server the camera should communicate with if enabled.

NDI Transmit Protocol: The NDI protocol the camera will use for transmission, RUDP, TCP, UDP, or Multicast.

NDI Multicast Address: Multicast address if Multicast is chosen as the NDI Transmit protocol. Cannot be edited otherwise.

NDI Multicast Mask: Multicast subnet mask if Multicast is chosen as the NDI Transmit protocol. Cannot be edited otherwise.

NDI Multicast TTL: The multicast Time to Live value, determines how long a multicast packet exists between network interfaces. Only used if Multicast is chosen as the NDI Transmit protocol. Cannot be edited otherwise.

NDI Firmware version: The current NDI firmware version of the camera. This is determine by the camera's firmware and cannot be modified separately.
