This section outlines the features introduced with AV.io HD+ firmware releases.

Release 22.08.18

Enables the following in the Epiphan Capture Tool:

  • Change the name of the AV.io HD+

  • Allows setting of custom UVC modes

Release 3.1.0 features

  • Use input signal resolution button

Previous versions of AV.io Config software have allowed for you to pass through the resolution of your input source as the resolution of the output source, but 3.1.0 has some updates on how this works. See Advanced Settings for more details.

  • Custom resolution creation

You can now create a list of up to three custom resolutions that can be used as output formats. You can add these in the Set custom resolution user modes tab of the AV.io Config software.

  • Significant changes to limitations, known issues and troubleshooting

Many changes have been made since the last firmware release for AV.io HD+. There have been lots of improvements to the efficiency and functionality. See Limitations and known issuesand Troubleshooting for more details.
