Using a Video Grabber to Capture Camera or Display Video for Security Control Room Investigations
DVI2USB 3.0 is capable of capturing signal from either VGA or DVI or HDMI™ output of a surveillance camera or computer display with a high frame rate at resolutions up to 1920×1200. Real-time real time security footage its transferred to a capture computer for review and recording. Captured data can be streamed over the Internet or LAN to a control room. DVI2USB 3.0 advantages include the ability to capture video or displays without installing software on the system under surveillance, easy integration with 3rd party software and high image quality.
Simply connect the DVI2USB 3.0 to the VGA, DVI or HDMI camera, then connect the DVI2USB 3.0 to the capture computer via USB 3.0. Use the free Epiphan capture software, or third part recording software to capture and optionally record the stream. Use third party streaming software to share the data with a remote control room.
