Today, Epiphan Systems announced that all Epiphan frame grabbers, recording, and broadcasting solutions are fully compatible with the Release Candidate version Windows 7, Microsoft’s upcoming operating system. For clients of Epiphan Systems, this means that moving from Windows XP/Vista to Windows 7 will not involve downloading new software or facing incompatibility issues.
For those users wishing to migrate to Windows 7, a reinstallation of drivers may be required, should the Epiphan device not work after upgrading.
