High Latency on Linux Ubuntu 18.04

#1

Hi, I tried the DVI2USB 3.0 on two PCs. One running Win10 the other Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS. The latency on the Win10 machine is quite low. On Linux I am using VLC to test. Latency is high (too high for the target appplication). Unfortunatly, I can’t give numbers for the latency. For the tests I feed the VGA output signal of the Win10 PC into the grabber so I can judge by moving the mouse and looking at the result on the screen.
Any ideas how to accelerate the pipeline for the Linux machine? Could it be a problem of the driver installation that went wrong?
Thanks in advance
Oliver

Resolved. I tested mplayer and the latency is low. So it seems to be visualization tool problem.
