My university owns a Pearl-2. I’m trying to connect my PC to the epiphan by using a Displayport to HDMI adapter without success (this computer does not have HDMI port). Unfortunately, the epiphan does not detect the input (no signal).
Is there a solution to this problem ?

The issue could be your display settings. Although normally computers should* automatically detect a display connection, there are certain times when a connection can be made but the auto-detection does not take place. Verify your display settings to see if your PC detects a second screen. If it does, ensure that your laptop has enabled the output over the Dsiplay port and ensure to duplicate the displays. If it does not, it could be a compatibility issue with the HDMI adapter perhaps, and I would recommend trying another.
