Create Training Materials for Medical Devices with Epiphan VGA2USB

MAQUET Gmbh & Co. develops medical products, therapies and services for operating rooms, intensive care units and surgical workplaces. The company uses the Epiphan VGAUSB frame grabber to capture high-quality screen captures from its medical devices.

“We are using the Epiphan solution to display the output of our mechanical ventilator product on a video screen,” explains Craig Ethen of MAQUET. “This output is then used to develop internal training presentations.”

Using the VGA2USB frame grabber, MAQUET is reducing travel expenses by eliminating the need for employees and customers to be present in the same room as its technology. “We have also realized that we can use VGA2USB to remotely administer live training sessions and communicate problems to our overseas factory. It’s a very flexible product at a very good price.”
