Product Overview
Optimus mini three is an auxiliary keyboard-informer with three keys displaying static or animated images that's used as a toolbar, a remote control or an indicator (to show the time, for example). Optimus Configurator software is required to customize the keyboard.
A set of useful plugins is available as part of the standard Optimus Configurator package. Third-party plugins appear every week, and any programmer can connect Optimus mini to a computer with a USB port and set about creating his own plugins.
Optimus mini three keys display the information associated (or not associated) with a program that's running. For example, you are watching a film on computer monitor while the keyboard displays a weather forecast, current exchange rates or informs you that you have new mail.
Optimus mini three works in sync with the regular keyboard and is so configured that its current layout changes as you press the modifier keys (Ctrl , Shift, Alt, and their combinations.)
Connection
To get Optimus mini three up and running:
1. Install Optimus Configurator software on your computer.
2. Connect the keyboard to a free USB port.
Now the Optimus mini three icon in the tray becomes active.
Layouts
There are layouts tied to programs and layouts that don't depend on the program running.
Optimus Configurator allows you to add new layouts or use standard ones.
