Product Overview
Epiphan VGA Broadcaster Standard™ is a live web broadcasting product that transmits a visual signal received from any DVI or VGA video screen port using motion JPEG, MPEG4 and H.264 video compression.
Key Features
- Live web broadcasting from any DVI/VGA video screen source at up to 1920x1200
- Stream video to mobile devices, including iPhone and iPad
- MPEG 4, H.264, Adobe Flash, or MJPEG compression, encoding and streaming
VGA Broadcaster is a simple and cost-effective web presentation solution for trainers, tech support, conferences, enterprises, sales staff, distance education providers and more. VGA Broadcaster is effortlessly configured and can easily be used even by those with limited technical knowledge.

VGA Broadcaster is:
Secure - VGA Broadcaster can capture any DVI or VGA stream. The source of the signal does not need to be modified in any way. System data files are never vulnerable to outsiders.
Simple - Just plug it in and present. No scheduling or prior set-up is required. No firewall arrangements need to be made. And, there is no software to download or user interface to learn. The video stream from VGA Broadcaster is fully compatible with applications such as Windows Media Player, VLC, QucikTime, and Adobe Flash.
Low-cost - With VGA Broadcaster, you own the web presentation capability outright. There are no setup or usage fees and it accommodates an unlimited number of participants. It is three to four times less costly than WebEx or LiveMeeting solutions.
Versatile - VGA Broadcaster works with any operating system, including Linux/Unix, Windows and Mac. It is also the only solution of its kind to transfer images from most web cameras, cursors or any other objects generated on the screen by DMA.

How it Works
To use VGA Broadcaster, the presenter simply plugs the DVI or VGA cable from the source device into the VGA Broadcaster product. VGA Broadcaster then interacts with the Epiphan Systems collaboration server to deliver the visual content to remote participants via the web. Remote participants can open their browser or a streaming media player and enter the presentation's password in order to view it. For more details, you can read the VGA Broadcaster specifications.
