Versatile - VGA Broadcaster PRO does not require any software to be deployed on the video source equipment, and is operating system agnostic - works with any operating system, including Windows, MAC, Linux/Unix, embedded systems such as ultrasound, scada, radar, etc. The Broadcast Pro audio-video stream can be viewed by providing a URL to standard browsers and media players. It is also the only solution of its kind to transfer images from most displays, web cameras, cursors or any other objects generated on the screen by DMA.
Form Factor and Interfaces
Enclosed in a 4U rack-mounted form factor, VGA Broadcaster PRO has the ability to synchronise and broadcast a simultaneous high resolution VGA, DVI or HDMI display with analog RCA or XLR audio, and s-video or composite video streams.

How Broadcaster Pro Works
To use VGA Broadcaster PRO, the presenter simply plugs the source VGA, DVI, or HDMI to DVI cable into VGA Broadcaster's input, then the audio source and the analog camera source (composite or s-video). VGA Broadcaster PRO then synchronises all the inputs, encodes, compresses and streams to deliver the audio-visual content to remote participants via a URL on the web. Remote participants simply open a web browser or player application. An optional viewer security password can be used to authenticate users.
Dedicated URL Channel Stream for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch Devices
Broadcaster Pro provides a special URL that streams to iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch and other devices that rely on the MPEG TS protocol ( Apple Live HTTP Streaming for iDevices). With this special feature, mobile devices that require this protocol can connect to this URL and view/listen to the same broadcasted event without setting up additional dedicated hardware.
Sample VGA Broadcaster Pro Applications
Stream Patient Camera and Medical Equipment Display

In this application VGA Broadcaster Pro has an analog video camera source and a display source from an ultrasound. The analog camera source can be a panoramic view of the patient, or a hand camera fastened to the ultrasound operator's hand while performing the ultrasound procedure. The Ultrasound display is connected to Broadcaster Pro's DVI source input connector. The live camera source and ultrasound display source are then combined and streamed to a URL for local and remote viewing over the internet. The stream can branded with information such as the time, date, procedure's name or other advanced branding using XLST customization tools. If the application is using a web enabled PTZ , remote viewers could adjust the camera focus, angle. This application is ideal for remote consultation, and continuing medical education(CME).
Camera and Display Source Digital Signage Streaming

In this application VGA Broadcaster Pro is used for a digital signage application. The analog is focused on the dance floor, factory floor or sports venue, while a display source is displaying powerpoint slide presentation on a continuous loop with advertising and marketing messages for upcoming events. The live camera source and marketing slides sources are then combined and streamed to a URL for local and remote viewing over the internet. Point of sales locations with computer displays, and signage stations can connect to Broadcaster Pro URL carrying the audio-video stream. The stream can branded with information such as the time, date, company name or other advanced branding using XLST customization tools. This application is ideal for creating custom, rugged and scalable signage and marketing communications solutions. VGA Broadcaster Pro also provides a URL for signage display devices that can receive native H.264 sources.
Live Stream a Classroom Lecture or Marketing to the Internet

In this application VGA Broadcaster Pro is used for a lecture or webinar application. The analog camera is focused on the speaker, while the display source is the laptop running displaying the presenter's slide material. The live camera source and presenter's slides display sources are then combined and streamed to a URL for local and remote viewing over the internet. The stream can branded with information such as the time, date, lecture or webinar topic or other advanced branding using XLST customization tools. This application is ideal for streaming classroom lectures and marketing webinar presentations to the internet.

Live Stream Event for Hearing and Visual Impaired Attendees

In this application VGA Broadcaster Pro can be used in a number of ways to assist with serving hearing and visual impaired clients that would like access to an event.
In the first configuration the analog camera is capturing a person presenting sign language interpretation of the presenter and their slides, while the slides are being captured on the second channel. The live camera source of sign language and presenter's slides display sources are then combined and streamed to a URL for local and remote viewing over the internet. The stream can branded with information such as the time, date, procedure's name or other advanced branding using XLST customization tools. This application is ideal for streaming classroom lectures and marketing webinar presentations to the internet.
In a second configuration, Broadcaster Pro can stream the event's video coverage, while descriptive video or closed captioning can be displayed and streamed along to the same destination URL
In all configurations, audio can be captured and streamed to a URL where hearing impaired participants can listen to the event with local amplification, regardless of their location in the room. Likewise, participants with a visual impairment can view and locally magnify the video stream on their computers, wireless browsers or smart phones regardless of their location relative to the event.
