Epiphan Systems Announces VGA2LAN Development Kit

Manufacturers and developers who build frame grabber-based devices or internet appliances now have a new powerful tool at hand - the VGA2LAN Development Kit. The VGA2LAN Development Kit consists of a PowerPC-based chipset running a custom open source Linux build, an integrated VGA frame grabber capable of capturing resolutions up to 2048 x 2048 and achieving capture rates up to 120fps. An integrated Gigabit Ethernet hub is also on board, as are 4 external and 1 internal USB 2.0 ports, making the VGA2LAN easy to expand.

The VGA2LAN Development Kit includes everything you need to begin programming for the device, including all associated hardware, a customized Linux-based build environment, and drivers for the VGA2LAN embedded Linux that give you full control over the VGA2LAN's features.
