ePresence Presenter incorporates Epiphan technology to offer users high-quality online presentations
ePresence Presenter is an all-in-one presentation tool that helps presenters webcast their presentation material. It includes the following tools:Power Point Proxy.
Allows the speaker to control the slide presentation and is easy to use. With Power Point Proxy, speakers don't have to worry about their slides being webcast -- they just start up the proxy and use Powerpoint's built-in slide show as usual. The slides will be automcatically transmitted in-sync to the audience watching remotely. With this utility, speakers can also present remotely using a web interface. The local audience would run Power Point Proxy in slave mode. This would "pull" or transfer the slides from the server and display them to the local audience in real-time along with the speaker's presentation!
Live Demo
Do you ever need to demonstrate something live from your desktop? Software development companies often use the ePresence Live Demo application to demonstrate features of newly released software and static slides don't always suit this purpose. The ePresence Live Demo application solves this problem. It runs on the presenter's PC and as the presenter is giving her software demonstration the application performs screen captures and sends the live stream from the presenter's desktop to the ePresence live webcast audience in Windows Media format while simultaneously recording the demo session for the event archive.
Web Presenter
ePresence Web Presenter is a great tool for presenters who prefer to browse the Web or play video files during their presentations. With this application, speakers can send webpage URLs or screen shots to the webcast audience. The application also permits uploading and playing multimedia files in Macromedia Flash, Windows Media, Real Media, QuickTime formats as well as MP3 audio.Screen Grabber
There are a number of occasions where the ePresence Proxy for PowerPoint will not automate video broadcasting with slides:
- The speaker's presentation is in a format other than PowerPoint or HTML (e.g. Flash, Open Office, Apple Keynote, PDF, Word, etc)
- The slides are not available in advance.
- The speaker uses a Mac or Linux computer.
- A network connection is not available for the presenter's computer.
- The speaker does not want to install any ePresence software on his or her computer, or does not have the right to do so.
- It's a last minute webcast, or the speaker is late and there is little time to set up the webcast.
