Epiphan Systems Adds Experienced Management to Executive Team

8 November 2004 - Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - Epiphan Systems today announced the addition of Steve Ryan, CA as Chief Operating Officer to its executive management team. Steve will oversee the day-to-day financial and business operations of the company, which develops innovative products that help businesses collaborate via the web.

Mike Sandler, President and CEO of Epiphan Systems, said, Steve is a tenured chartered accountant with a solid understanding of the financial and operational needs of a technology-based company. We are thrilled to have him on board and believe he will be a critical factor in our growth.

Steve's 12-year career as a chartered accountant includes a position as Financial Controller at Galazar Networks Inc. At Galazar, Steve oversaw the genesis and growth of a telecommunications start-up and raised more than US$22 million in venture capital funding over a two-year period.

Previously, Steve was Financial Controller at the Valhalla Inn, and has also held management and senior accounting positions with Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants and KPMG Chartered Accountants. Steve holds his Chartered Accountant designation from the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and an Honors Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
